The Aprilia Racing Team celebrates its off-road roots by taking on the challenge of the desert!

The Aprilia Racing project for the return to off-road competition and raid rallies is just the latest development by the team, which continues to grow in both force and ambition, with unprecedented achievements for Aprilia such as its triumph in the Italian Motorbike Rally Championship and Africa Eco Race.
Aprilia Racing is now ready to take on new challenges and aim for even more ambitious goals.

THE PROJECT

"Back to Africa"

Tuareg Racing is an ambitious project that continues on from the legendary off-road history of Aprilia, the last Italian manufacturer to win a stage at Dakar. Since its debut, the “Back to Africa” initiative to get Aprilia back to the great desert races has celebrated a host of victories and further cemented its leading status in rally raid competitions. Successes in these include the Italian Motorally Championship, the Hellas Rally Raid, Baja Aragón and the 2024 and 2025 editions of the Africa Eco Race.
