2018 Aprilia Racers Days Track Experience
Aprilia debuted something new for current and prospecting customers at six track events this past May through August - the Aprilia Racer Days Track Experience.
The national on-track demo tour was open to riders of any brand, and provided a distraction-free experience for riders to test the 2018 Aprilia range.
With major updates for the 2017 model year, the RSV4 and Tuono have both received numerous awards by world’s most renowned motorcycle publications, including topping the list in various shootouts and categories. These are bikes track day enthusiasts have been begging to ride, and we provided that experience.
Participants were able to get two sessions on track with one or both machines, which were shod with performance-focused Diablo Rosso Corsa II tires, which Pirelli developed using its 15 years as the official tire supplier to the World Superbike Championship.
Each of the following events were supported by Aprilia trained technicians and product specialists to ensure the best riding experience:
- Buttonwillow Raceway Park – May 10th, Buttonwillow, CA
- Chuckwalla Valley Raceway – May 18th, Desert Center, CA
- New York Safety Track – May 28th, Jefferson, NY
- Jennings GP – June 2nd, Jennings, FL
- Thunderhill Raceway Park – August 4th, Willows, CA
- Sonoma Raceway – August 31st, Sonoma, CA
- Buttonwillow Raceway Park – October 2nd, Buttonwillow, CA
During the 2018 Aprilia Racer Days Track Experience, hundreds of laps were spun, dozens of tires were changed, and many track enthusiasts are now riding a new Aprilia motorcycle a result of the on-track demo experiences.
Besides two test-ride sessions, participants also received a complimentary lunch and beverages, along with free track day photography. The groups were separated by riding experience, and broken into three 20-minute sessions.
Many riders also took advantage of the Aprilia trained technicians and product specialists, who answered questions from how to setup suspension baselines to horsepower and pricing.
