Sam Lowes - England - #22
Born in Lincoln on 14 September, 1990, he was crowned World Supersport champion in 2013. He moved to Moto2 with team Speed up, gaining notoriety straight away with excellent results. Through 2015 he rode the same bike, on which he proved to be competitive despite the technical inferiority of its package. In any case, he took home his first win at Austin and four podiums which earned him a fourth place finish in the overall standings for the season. In 2016 he switched over to ride a Kalex for team Federal Oil Gresini, winning his second race in the category at the Spanish GP, his third at Aragón and finishing on the podium six times.
