Another double win! Max Biaggi dominates again in Race 2 at Misano. Eighth victory for Max. Fourth consecutive triumph and fourth double victory in eight rounds. Max strengthens his hold on the championship rankings (+37 points in front of the second place ranking). Aprilia first in manufacturer rankings (+30).

From the Brno race, the ninth round on the World Superbike Championship schedule, Aprilia Racing will provide an RSV4 to Pata B&G Racing Team which will be ridden by Jakub Smrz.

The Brno round of the 125cc World Championship saw Jack and Jones Aprilia Team’s Nico Terol take his second ever Grand Prix victory and his first victory of the 2009 season.

The 125cc Grand Prix kept the Dutch spectators on the edge of their seats at the historic Assen Circuit.

Aprilia’s Andrea Iannone took victory at the Catalunya Grand Prix in Spain, in an exciting battle, which continued long after the race was finished.

UDDEVALLA – After a testing opening to the season Josh Coppins is finally finding his feet on the MXV in the premier MX1 class; as demonstrated at the Grand Prix of Sweden where he scored 11th overall and tied on points with the 10th classified rider.

TEUTSCHENTHAL – An electrical problem largely determined the extent of Josh Coppins’ achievements at the Grand Prix of Germany. Although qualification went reasonably well, the potential of the MXV could not be fully displayed on race-day due to some minor problems that affected race pace in the first moto and then forced a retirement in the second.

The fast circuit located east of Los Angeles and in the town of San Bernardino did not bring much luck to Josh Coppins who was unable to finish the first moto of the sixth round of fifteen in the FIM Motocross World Championship. The experienced New Zealander was however able to equal his best finish of the season so far with 9th position in the second race.
