The evergreen Reggiani and the French rider Jean Philippe Ruggia were Aprilia's official standard-bearers in the 250cc class in 1993; an official bike was also entrusted to the great cross-country rider Jean Michel Bayle, who a year previously transferred to speed after his triumphs in SuperCross; the bike was extremely competitive, but our riders just missed the title.
Ruggia won at Donington and Misano, Reggiani at Brno.
Fiorillo was European Champion with the Aprilia 250.
