The 2009 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix saw Julian Simon crowned the 125cc World Champion for 2009 on board his Bancaja Aspar Aprilia.

The Aspar Aprilia team took their 100th victory at this weekend’s round of the 125cc World Championship in Donington, with Julian Simon fighting the English rain to prove victorious in the five-lap sprint.
