REPLICA SBK APRILIA ALITALIA 2010 RANGE

Aprilia's history is inseparably linked with racing: with 43 world championships won in every discipline of motorcycling, 275 MotoGP wins - making Aprilia the most successful European brand ever - and the constructor's current endeavours in the world Superbike championship.

Today, Aprilia is competing in the major class dedicated to production derived bikes with the riders Max Biaggi and Leon Camier. The extraordinary four cylinder Aprilia RSV4 dominating the world SBK championship wears the magnificent tricolour livery borne of the partnership between Aprilia and Alitalia. A livery bringing together two prestigious proudly Italian brands that is evocative of legendary chapters in Italian motor sports history.

Now the SR 50 - the world's first supersports 50 cc scooter - and the RS 50 and RS125 motorcycles, which give younger riders the chance to live the dream of owning a real motorbike, are also available emblazoned in the livery of the Aprilia Alitalia Racing Team. The colours, carried to victory by four times world champion Max Biaggi, are the perfect calling card for these three machines - the most technologically advanced products in their respective segments.

APRILIA SR 50
Originally launched in 1992, the Aprilia SR 50 stood apart from its rivals by being the first scooter with the character of a supersports bike. Since then, the Aprilia SR 50 has gone on to notch up a string of world firsts: first sports scooter, first racing replica scooter, first scooter with a liquid-cooled engine, first scooter with dual disc brakes and first 50 cc with electronic fuel injection.
Aprilia SR 50 - available today in the two R and R Factory variants - has always adopted sophisticated technology worthy of a true sports bike and now gains a raft of even more advanced solutions: Unique design, superlative performance and ultra-low fuel consumption - made possible by the latest generation two stroke purejet engine - are complemented by a sophisticated chassis offering a truly motorcycle-like riding experience. Premium suspension components offer superbly effective and progressive damping action, while the 13” wheels (a hallmark of the Aprilia SR since its inception) shod with ultra low profile tyres confirm the technological supremacy and distinct sports character of a scooterwithout peers.

APRILIA RS 50
The Aprilia RS 50 is a genuine sports bike for budding young riders. An “entry level” model that epitomes Aprilia's winning sports DNA and the technology of the marque's 2 stroke machines dominating the junior classes of the MotoGP championship. Aprilia RS 50 offers younger riders access to class-beating technological solutions: aluminium frame and swingarm, lightweight wheels with split spokes, radial front brake calliper, 2-stroke engine and analogue/digital instruments worthy of a much larger engined motorcycle. The newly launched styling variant boasts aggressive, purposeful graphics dedicated to Max Biaggi and his motorcycle, which bears the Aprilia banner in the SBK world championship.

APRILIA RS 125
Aprilia RS 125 owes much more than its graphics to the race world - it is a genuine race replica for budding young riders, encapsulating all the technical expertise of the Noale based marque in the one-eighth litre class.
Over the years, RS 125 has earned a reputation as a benchmark for 2-stroke sports motorcycles which continues to receive public and critical acclaim in the most important European markets and is still today the bike of choice for riders competing in Sport Production races. As the cherry on the cake, in 2010, the Aprilia RS 125 was voted “Bike of the Year” in its class by 33,000 readers of the magazine Motociclismo. An award that joins the many other accolades already garnered by the little Italian sports bike. Aprilia RS 125 boasts class beating componentry and mechanicals, such as the powerful and reliable single cylinder two stroke engine which, over the years, has earned a reputation of being unbeatable in terms of both performance in the race track and reliability on the road.
The compact, ultralight RS 125 is a concentrated package of sophisticated technology: the frame and swingarm are both derived from Moto GP experience and made from ultra-stiff aluminium. An upside down front fork, the front brake with radial calliper with four, horizontally opposed pistons and the wheels with split spokes are testimony to the bike's overtly racing character. Other unique features for the RS 125 include an analogue/digital instrument panel complete with multifunctional computer, a forged steering yoke and anoval racing silencer with riveted end caps.
